Bringing more seats to the table
This is a great opportunity for member companies to help support and develop our growing industry by attracting new talent and will provide a fantastic professional development opportunity for someone who may not otherwise be able to attend the conference.
Attending an industry conference is an excellent opportunity for a student to learn from experts within the renewable energy industry, be exposed to our member companies and learn about the exciting opportunities the clean energy industry has to offer.
The sponsorship package includes the Clean Energy Council’s Discover the Renewable Energy Industry online course. The aim of this is to build a student’s knowledge base so they can reap the full benefit of attending a conference.
The Clean Energy Council will ensure the sponsored ticket is provided to a student or recent graduate who is looking to get into the clean energy industry who has registered interest in attending the event.
For member companies
As a Career Launcher ticket sponsor, member companies will be contributing to the development of a rich, diverse workforce in our growing industry. Being a sponsor will also provide an opportunity for companies to connect with students and those in the early stage of their careers.
Sponsoring companies will be acknowledged in the Clean Energy Council Chief Executive’s opening address at the conference, as well as have their company logos appear on holding slides at the Clean Energy Council booth and on the main conference screens during breaks. Sponsoring companies will also receive the member rate ticket price for their representatives attending the conference.
For students and recent graduates
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all the following eligibility criteria:
- identify as a woman;
- be a student or recent graduate of an Australian higher education provider;
- must not be already employed in the renewable energy industry;
- be willing to provide a testimonial that will be used in promotional activities for the Clean Energy Council and the member company responsible for sponsoring the ticket.
Please note that any travel or accommodation costs incurred to attend the event are not covered by the sponsoring company and must be borne by the student. Please only apply for this initiative if you are sure that you can cover the travel costs to attend (depending on your location, interstate or intrastate travel may be necessary).
