With huge growth in the industry, recruiting electricians, engineers and other skilled workers is critical. 

Our Careers for Net Zero campaign and our Careers Guide are building the future workforce through engaging the next generation of clean energy workers and supporting workers to transition from other sectors. Our Careers Hub is helping fill existing job vacancies. And we're working with unions and governments on portable entitlements for workers.

A more diverse workforce delivers broader skill sets, better performance and greater job satisfaction, and is essential to solving enduring worker shortages in critical occupations. 

Since 2015, our Women in Renewables program has championed women working in the renewable energy industry and fostered women-led leadership. 

We're also working with organisations engaged with First Nations Peoples and implementing initiatives that support the industry to increase workforce accessibility and inclusion for other underrepresented groups.

Standards and regulations are developing rapidly, especially in home energy products and services. 

Our LearnLAB education platform and myCEC service provides training, support and resources to help tradespeople understand requirements and new and potential workers to upskill. 

We're partnering with members, governments, universities and stakeholders to design the training programs and requirements needed as the industry and technologies evolve.

Forecasting the jobs and skills needed in future is critical to workforce planning. 

We're working with numerous stakeholders including government, Jobs and Skills Australia and Powering Skills Organisation to help better understand the workforce needs of the evolving industry.
