Join us for the 17th Annual General Meeting of the Clean Energy Council

Nominations for the Board of Directors
As part of the Annual General Meeting, we will hold our director elections with three positions available, each for a three-year term.
We are seeking industry leaders with governance experience and sector-specific expertise to help us shape Australia’s energy transition. This is your opportunity to make an impact and drive progress for your sector.
A core aim is for the Board of Directors to reflect the diversity of our industry, and we encourage nominations from those with diverse backgrounds and skillsets to apply.
Only employees of Clean Energy Council member organisations can nominate. The relevant provisions of the Constitution are set out in Appendix 1 of the Call for Nominations Notice. Director positions are voluntary.
Nominations close at 5pm AEDT on Tuesday 21 October
Voting at the AGM
At our Annual General Meeting, Clean Energy Council members will conduct an election of directors in accordance with clause 10 of the Clean Energy Council’s Constitution.
Should the primary contact not be able to attend the AGM and/or wish to nominate a proxy, we ask that you provide this advice on the registration form and we will send you a proxy form in early November.
Pre-voting opens on 10 November and closes at 5pm on 24 November. Voting will also be open during the AGM. Only primary contacts or nominated proxies can vote. If you’re not sure who the primary contact for your organisation is, contact membership@cleanenergycouncil.org.au.
The three nominees with the highest number of votes will become Directors of the Board for a term of three years.
