Submission on WA Gov’s proposed changes to Western Power’s capital contributions framework for transmission connections 

We have made a submission to a consultation process being undertaken by the WA Government on proposed changes to the State-based regime for a proponents' costs of funding the shared transmission network for new generation, load or storage connections.

The proposed regime leverages a fixed capital cost of $100,000/MW (irrespective of the type of connection). The submission sets out our members' views on recommendations the WA Government could consider in making the proposed regime operate more fairer into the future.
