244 industry leaders, investors, policymakers, farmers, local government and regional representatives came together in Brisbane for the first Queensland Energy and Economic Summit.
The message was consistent: renewable energy projects succeed when they make a genuine, long-term commitment to the communities hosting them. Not just for today, but for the decades ahead.
As Clean Energy Council CEO, Jackie Trad, said, "As Queensland, we should do what we do best: do it our way. That's how we make sure the state prospers. Make it work for Queensland, whether you are in the bush, the city or the tip of the state."
