The AEC-CEC provided feedback to the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) on its consultation paper canvassing the issues and proposed solutions of both the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and AEC/CEC rule change requests. This submission reflects feedback and experience from our members. 

This joint submission demonstrates the strong industry support for action on Essential System Services (ESS), with broad stakeholder support including from thermal, hydro, batteries and other inverter-based resources, across both AEC and CEC memberships.
