Announcing the 2026 recipients of the Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership

The Clean Energy Council is pleased to announce the 10 recipients of the 2026 Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership, continuing to honour the legacy of the late Chloe Munro AO by supporting the next generation of women to grow as leaders in Australia’s clean energy sector.

The 2026 recipients join a growing network of 66 women who have received the scholarship since the program began in 2021.

Now in its sixth round, the scholarship attracted 125 applications from women across the clean energy sector. Applications were carefully reviewed by a selection committee, with shortlisted applicants interviewed before the final recipients were selected.

Recipients demonstrated a commitment to fostering a more inclusive and diverse clean energy sector, a strong understanding of the challenges women face in the industry and a drive to help overcome these barriers.

Each recipient has been awarded a fully funded leadership development scholarship to undertake study with Executive Central.

The Chloe Munro Scholarship for Transformational Leadership is part of the Clean Energy Council’s ongoing commitment to building a diverse, skilled and capable clean energy workforce by advancing women’s leadership across all levels of the industry.

The scholarship program is made possible thanks to the generous support of program partners ARENA, AEMO, DEECA and Hydro Tasmania, and program supporters GoodWe, Iberdrola Australia, GreenCollar, Tilt Renewables and Ørsted.

The Clean Energy Council sincerely thanks everyone who applied for the 2026 scholarship and congratulates this year’s recipients. We’re proud to support their leadership development and look forward to seeing the contribution they continue to make to Australia’s clean energy future.

“What I am most looking forward to is becoming a more confident, influential communicator, so I can make a bigger difference to the projects and conservation outcomes that matter most to me.
