The CEC welcomes the development of a National Skills Taxonomy (NST). Jobs and Skills Australia’s The Clean Energy Generation report comprehensively documented the numerous workforce challenges that must be overcome to achieve our decarbonisation targets. Many of these challenges are highly relevant to the development of an NST. This submission summarises the workforce issues the clean energy industry is experiencing to assist with the identification of potential use cases that may be enabled by an NST.
