The Clean Energy Council's (CEC) submission to AEMO’s Draft 2025 Electricity Network Options Report (ENOR) is an important input in the development of the National Electricity Market’s 2026 Integrated System Plan (ISP).

The submission sets out a selection of network augmentation options – including indicative costing – that could be delivered to increase hosting capacity on the network The options presented are primarily focussed in the South West Renewable Energy Zone of New South Wales given the high degree of developer interest in that region.

The CEC considers that further assessment of these key recommendations by AEMO will strengthen the Draft 2025 ENOR and ensure alignment with the ISP’s objective of delivering a least-cost, secure and reliable net-zero transition.
